3 hair care rules:

Let these 3 basic rules to guide you through the hair care path, it will make it easier if you remember about them!



This post is created for everyone, especially for beginners, who just starting getting to know more about hair care.



1. LOVE YOUR HAIR

The first point here is to GIVE SOME LOVE TO YOUR HAIR, it may sound silly but you shall try to accept them how they really are; straight, curly, thin or thick, maybe you are having problems with dandruff, hair loss, they are dry or greasy, start to TAKE CARE of them, believe their condition can improve.

You love your hair as they are, you are lucky, now don't need to destroy them with; straightener, bleach, trailing, colouring, etc. and still...

if you prefer to change them, then don't worry HAIR ARE FOR YOU, and you are not for them, so I won't tell you to give it up but please BE GENTLE, use the mildest or natural ways to protect them.


Remember that hair condition can not change fast and easily, it is a long process which last for a lifetime, similarly with the slimming process, you need PATIENCE, CONSISTENCY and PERSEVERANCE, new habits can bring beneficial results, take pictures to monitor your progress. The "hair care path" will not be easy, it can take time so the best you can do is, get to LIKE TO TAKE CARE OF THEM and keep GETTING TO KNOW about them, don't follow any conditioning process, till you know it works on your hair, because your hair is special, so not every hair tip will work on your hair.

You like taking care of them and getting to know them, then your path will be much more easier and certainly you can do it!



2. KEEP THE PEH BALANCE

Provide your hair with VARIOUS kinds of ingredients and keep it all in the balance. It is not good to stick only for one or two product on your hair. The balanced of adequate hair diet is here crucial for conscious hair care. I am not advising you to buy a lot of different kinds of shampoos and conditioners, I just want you to KNOW WHAT ARE YOU USING and try to choose the most delicate detergents to wash and condition your hair.

Keeping your PEH balance is the awareness of what you are using, which is the most important to monitor it and getting the knowledge of your hair, their preferences, demand, needs and limits for individual groups of ingredients.

PEH balance consists of :

  • proteins (e.g. soy protein, corn protein, keratin, silk, milk protein etc.)

  • emollients ( e.g. all oils, silicones, paraffins )

  • humectants ( e.g. urea, hyaluronic acid, d-panthenol, glycerin, aloe, sodium lactate, etc.)

3. STAY HEALTHY

The most important is to stay healthy. Only a balanced diet and lifestyle, can ensure you healthy hair.



Your dream of beautiful hair can come true, but you can not forget that only healthy lifestyle and taking care of yourself from the inside, can provide you the best effects in connection with rule 1 and 2. Healthy Eating reacts at everything to your hair and skin, your physical and mental health.

Vitamins and minerals deficits affect very fast on hair condition. I don't know much about a well-balanced diet but for sure you shall consider to add in your diet: lean meat, vegetable fats (rich in EFA), yellow and red vegetables and fruits (betacarotene), cauliflower, broccoli, onions, garlic, yeast, lentils, nuts, dairy, spinach, jellies and all kinds of sprouts.

Remember about drinking a lot of water and move more and tame your stress because your overall health has a significant influence on your hair condition.
