Daily care should become a habit for every woman who dreams of keeping her face healthy and young for long. Only systematicall treatments, using products properly and suited to the needs of the skin, are able to guarantee such an effect. However, under the influx of home and professional responsibilities, we sometimes skip the morning or evening care ritual or limit it to only removing makeup. If this type of situations occur sporadically, then the good condition of our skin is not compromised. However, if we forget about daily care more and more often, then we have to reckon with the serious consequences of our negligence, which may be noticeable in a short time period. Let's check how daily care of skin should go and what we must not forget about during it.
Daily skin care - why is it so important?
Everyday, the skin of our face is exposed to a number of factors that affect it in a negative way. Wind, frost, sun, dry and air-conditioned air, a sharp change in temperature, face care mistakes that we make, as well as using heavily damaging make-up cosmetics that not allies of our skin. They contribute to weaking of the facial skin condition, lipid coat disruption and excessive water loss. If we add the natural skin aging processes that begin after the age of around 25 and their consequences, then we have a ready prescription for premature aging of the facial skin and accumulating skin problems, such as excessive drying.
To minimize the negative effects of these harmful factors, we must take care of our skin regularly and choosing products adequate to its age and it's individual requirements.
Step 1: CLEANSING
Cleansing should be the first element of your daily routine. Excess sebum, dead skin remains, dust, dirt and layers of makeup - all this contaminates your skin, prevents it from breathing and may upset its natural balance. Therefore, you should start the morning and evening bathroom ritual by thoroughly cleansing your face. Depending on the skin type, it is recommended to use micellar fluids (normal, capillary skin), lotions (dry, mature, atrophic skin) or antibacterial oily gels. * You can skip morning cleansing and limit it, to washing with water but don't forget it before you go to sleep, you can remove make up with an oil and then use face washing product. Step 2: TONING
Toning is one of the most overlooked elements of everyday skin care. After cleansing the face and removing the "leftovers of the day" and makeup from it, it seems to us that there is no need to wash the skin again. And yet! After washing, and actually after each contact with water, the natural, acidic pH of the skin is disturbed. This means that the skin loses its protective barrier, protecting against fungi, bacteria and harmful environmental influences. The tonic's task is to restore the skin's natural pH level, and thus care for its daily safety. For toning, gentle non-alcoholic tonics are most often recommended, which do not dry the skin and do not cause irritation.
There is one exception that releases you from this stage of daily care. You can opt out of tonic only if you use micellar fluid for make-up removal, which simultaneously cleanses and tones the skin.

Step 3: CREAM
Only cleansed and toned skin is ready to receive the beneficial ingredients of the cream. Its application should be remembered both in the morning and evening. For most skin types, day cream should be different from the night cream. The exception is only mature and atrophic skin (pathological, sensitive, damaged skin with a tendency to rapidly aging). For their care - morning and evening - you can use one nourishing, regenerating and moisturizing cream.

In turn, the capillaries skin needs relief and peace, so you should choose soothing and calming creams for its care.

Even the best cosmetics or expensive professional treatments can prove to be ineffective if you don't provide your skin with healthy bases in the form of a properly balanced diet, regular physical activity, enough sleep and fresh air. Your body is a set of connected vessels, so if something bad is going on in your body, your skin will also react. If you want to take care of its beauty, start with caring for your health. Drink lots of water, avoid highly processed foods, sugar, stimulants and stress. Move, relax in the fresh air and ensure a good night's sleep! All this will make you feel better in your own skin.

However, remember that each of us is different, therefore the type of cosmetics and the frequency of treatments should be tailored to individual needs.
